Effect - Something brought about by a cause; a result.
Something that logically or naturally follows from a cause.


Example 1:

“Wet clothe” is an effect of “walking in the rain”.

“Walking in the rain” is a cause of “wet clothe”


Example 2:

 “’A’ char appearance” is an effect of “pressing ‘A’ key on the keyboard”.
