Satisfaction level

Satisfaction level indicates how satisfied super goal is. See also: goal satisfaction.

Changes in satisfaction level affect discomfort level:
The more satisfaction level decreases the more difference is between current satisfaction level and desired satisfaction level. The more the difference the higher discomfort level is.

Satisfaction level may be affected by two factors:

1) Goal’s event impacts.

2) Fading.

Goal’s event impacts results in satisfaction level jump (step). Usually it’s positive jump.

Fading results in gradual decreasing in satisfaction level.

Example:

Let assume that “Reading desire” super goal has goal’s event “text reading”.

Let “text reading” goal’s event impact happened.

As a result satisfaction level is increased by 10 points (just an example).

Later fading will take place and satisfaction level will gradually decrease.
